Our Leadership

Jennifer2Jennifer Moore, President

Jennifer is a homeschooling mother of 3:  Dillon (16), Benjamin and Samuel (10).  She and her husband, Scott, have been home educating their boys since day 1.  Their heart in homeschooling primarily has been to give their children an education based upon the truths of God’s Word.

The Moore family has been involved in CHIP Enrichment Classes for 6 years.  They live in Sumner, along with their dog, cats, chickens, and turkeys.  Their family attends The Cowboy Church.

Angelia copyAngelia Herndon, Secretary

Angelia is an artist and homeschooling mom of four creative kids, two of whom have graduated.  She and her husband, Tom, who is also an artist, started homeschooling twenty years ago when their oldest was four.
The Herndon family’s eclectic educational style allows for lots of creative endeavors, including their local wedding magazine.  When they aren’t hanging out in their art studio, they might be taking care of their small zoo of pets or collecting treasures on a nature walk in their woods near Blossom, Texas.

Debi Porter

Debi is mom to four children, three of whom are grown. She and her husband, Richard, live in Delta County where they own a HVAC company. Debi also works full time outside the home as an office administrator. She and Richard, have been home educating their youngest son, Charlie, since first grade.

“Having graduated three older children out of public school we were disheartened and weary from the experience. Our decision to home educate was based on faith. God had given us a special blessing late in life, and we stepped out in faith believing that God would provide the ability and the wisdom to educate him, which He has and continues to do.”

Lorrie Henry, Parents Room Coordinator

Lorrie is the homeschool mom of three curious boys, Randall (high schooler), Skylar, Hansen, and one observant girl, Hannah. Lorrie and her husband, Raifel, have been homeschooling in the state of Oklahoma since their oldest, Randall, was 5 years old.

They are owners of henryberryanddairy.com which began with the idea of teaching their children the aspects of starting and running a small business.  They find it fascinating watching how God is unfolding his plan with each one of their children and do not want to miss a single moment.  The Henrys live on a ranch in Oklahoma with plenty of animals and work but gladly drive to be involved with the CHIP classes due to all the positive opportunities offered.
